The Republican Liberty Caucus is a membership (read dues-paying) "political club" of libertarian-oriented individuals operating within the Republican Party, AND with other 'limited-government" supporters in ALL political parties. You

The RLC sponsor a large number of e-Groups for members, as well as for the larger pro-freedom movement at the national, state, and local level. We encourage ALL limited government supporters in the Hudson Valley to join the

THIS MEET UP GROUP -- The Republican Liberty Caucus - Hudson Valley Region is SPONSORED by the RLCNY-HV Chapter for ALL freedom-loving people: their is no dues requirement, and one need not be a Republican or a "libertarian" to be a member.

The purpose of this group is to advance a pro-freedom agenda of limited government, free markets, individual freedom, and transparency in government.

We believe that the best way to advance our 'pro-freedom' agenda is to elect 'pro-freedom' candidates, and that
the best chance of electing these candidates in NYS is via the Republican 'line'. Fortunately, NYS election law allows
cross-endorsements, and our goal is too rally Republicans, Conservatives, Libertarians, and Independence Party
supporters too to 'our' candidates. The first candidate to achieve this was RLC member Bill Schmidt in 2007 in his
race for Mayor of the City of Peekskill when he was the candidate of all of these parties which he very narrowly lost.

We also will be supporting and promoting legislation that favors our agenda, and conversely, will be opposing legislation which promotes a 'statist' agenda. Other activities will include, but not be limited to, promoting our cause,
and non-partisan efforts to advance 'our' agenda, as well as recruiting candidates for elected office.
