Certainly politics is not for everyone. Good luck on your efforts in other areas!

I am by no means convinced that the Republican Liberty Caucus is for me. I don't believe that trying to elect "libertarians" to public office "by effective means" is necessarily the way for me best to achieve my political goals.

    •  As a first meeting with folks who did not know each other, and with the time spent together rather limited, it was, in my opinion, fairly successful. This group was cohesive in the sense that all of us were "limited government advocates" of the libertarian-type, but unfortunately this portion of the meeting was not as productive as I would like as the group splintered into several smaller groups getting to know each other better. 50% of the folks had to leave earlier, but the 3 of us left stepped down the street to an Irish bar, for a beverage or two and a light meal, and we had a very productive and "fun" evening. The "diehards" remained until 230AM -- both of us having about an hour ride home, and both of us with 500AM wake up calls too -- and accomplished a great deal. My opinion of the total "Meet Up" experience was most positive. Met some great folks, and accomplished a great deal too. Carl
